Weekend getaways have to be perfect to be truly relaxing. If the accommodations are lackluster or the food bland, then the whole idea of "getting away" is ruined. It has to be close, too: if most of the weekend is spent getting there and coming back, what's the point?

Weekend Getaways in the White Mountains
Bison Ranch is located just two and a half hours from the Valley.
